IBBL Dhaka Zone Holds Online Conference

Dhaka Central Zone of Islami Bank Bangladesh Limited (IBBL) conducted an online business development conference on Thursday.

The conference was addressed by Md Mahbub ul Alam, Managing Director, and CEO of the Bank, where Md Monirul Moula, Md Qaisar Ali and Md Omar Faruk Khan, additional managing directors, were special guests.

Md Mahbub ul Alam said that the global economy is experiencing problems as a consequence of the coronavirus epidemic, and the banking sector has a significant part to play in tackling this threat.

Islamic Bank has been providing its clients with regular services through branches, agent banking outlets and alternative banking technologies since the start of the crisis, he added.

Abu Reza Md Yeahia and Md Siddiqur Rahman, deputy managing directors, Mohammad Jamal Uddin Mazumder and Abul Faiz Md Kamaluddin, senior executive vice presidents also addressed the conference presided by Md Altaf Hossain, head of Dhaka central zone.
