bKash Makes 'Donation' Easier

Bkash, a major mobile financial service company, introduced a 'Donation' button to its mobile app menu in an attempt to promote the donation phase in the midst of coronavirus fallout. 

A press release stated that the button was introduced to make it easy for consumers to contribute to the social groups who operate with the citizens in need during this crisis.

As a result, customers can now easily join the humanitarian work of 11 organizations and donate any amount of money in just a few clicks, it added.

Customers need to select 'Donation' from the 'More' icon in the bKash app to make a donation. Then you have to select the preferred organization. In the next step, the amount of donation must be entered with the name of the donor and an email I d.

If the customers want, they can also keep their identity hidden by selecting ‘unwilling to reveal identity’ option. After pressing ‘submit’ and entering PIN number, the donation process will be completed. In the last screen, customers can see the acknowledgment.

After selecting it, customers will get a chance to know detailed information about the organization in the next screen. Donors should also contact the email shown on the computer if they are involved in finding anything about the donation 's expenses.

BKash users now can donate to 11 organizations which are: Alter Youth, Anjuman Mofidul Islam, Bangladesh Thalassemia Foundation, BRAC, Center for Zakat Management, Dhaka Ahsania Mission, Ek Takay Ahar, Liberation War Museum, National Liver Foundation of Bangladesh, Obhizatrik Foundation and Sajida Foundation.
