Coaching Centres Closed till Apr 9

Both coaching centres and the educational institutions will remain closed until Apr 9 owing to the coronavirus epidemic.

"The decision came from a meeting on Tuesday (Mar 24) led by Minister of Education Dipu Moni," said Mohammad Abul Khair, the education ministry's public relations officer (PRO).

"In this period all students have to remain at home and obey the safety guidelines provided by the Institute of Epidemiology, Disease Control and Science," he added.

The Government had decided earlier on Mar 16 to keep all educational institutions closed until Mar 31.
