Jashore Board Sees 87.31pc Pass in SSC Exams

This year, the Jashore Education Board (JEB) has earned 87.31% passes in the Secondary School Certificate (SSC) exams.

A total of 13,764 students, including 6,808 girls, received GPA-5 on the board this year.

The Board published the results online today amid coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic.

In a press release, Controller of Examinations Prof. Madhab Chandra Rudra said that a total of 160,635 students, including 80,326 girls, appeared in the SSC examinations at 286 centers in all ten districts under the board this year.

mOf the, 1, 40,243 have succeeded. As in the previous year, the results sheet shows that this year's girls students are still advanced in terms of their pass percentage.

The percentage of girls in the pass is 88.79, while the boys are 85.82.

The number of 100 percent passed schools is 250 under the board.

Among the ten districts, Satkhira clinched the top position with 94.03 pass percentage.
