Shampratik Deshkal celebrated its 7th founding anniversary on Saturday (8th February)
Elias Uddin Palash, the Editor in Chief of the Weekly Shampratik Deshkal made a welcome speech at the event.
Md Naser Shahriar Zahedi, in his speech on behalf of the publisher, expressed his well-wishes for the newspaper.
Former Governor of Bangladesh Bank Dr. Saleh Uddin Ahmed said the difference between Weekly Shampratik Deshkla and other newspapers is - they take a side but it writes from a neutral position.
The office premises was vibrant with lively presence of the well-wishers.
On this happy hour, Shampratik Deshkal family received floral greetings from various walks of people along with Writers, Columnists, Professors, Intellectuals, Educationists and many more.
The cake was cut at the end of the seminar.
Saiful Haque, General Secretary of the Revolutionary Workers Party of Bangladesh was present on the occasion
Educationist Salimullah Khan said that the recent Shampratik Deshkal has to play a role in stopping the voluntarism that the Bangla Academy and others are doing with the Bangla spelling.
The weekly Shampratik Deshkal celebrated it's 7thanniversary.
The anniversary was celebrated on Saturday (February 8th) at it's office premises in the capital's Mohammadpur. Various arrangements such as cake cutting, discussions, and cultural events were organized marking the anniversary program.
