Barrister Suman Resigns from Int'l Crimes Tribunal

Barrister Syed Sayedul Haque Suman posits his resignation letter to the International Crimes Tribunal (ICT) chief prosecutor.

In his resignation letter, submitted today, Barrister Sumon said that due to his social and consensual engagement he could not continue with the ICT.

"Considering the circumstances, I don't think it is morally appropriate to get a government salary. So I would like to resign from that role," he said in the statement.

Barrister Sumon joined ICT on Nov 13, 2012, as a prosecutor (state lawyer).

The High Court lawyer got a lot of attention by raising various social and awareness issues on the Facebook social media site.
