Mamata Banerjee Greets Sheikh Hasina on Eid-ul-Azha

India’s West Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee has greeted Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina on the occasion of the Eid-ul-Azha, says media report. 

In a message to Bangladesh premier, Mamata Banerjee said, “Geographically West Bengal and Bangladesh are different but we are very close to each other. We share the pleasure of various festivities to each other as the language and culture of two Bengal are similar.”    

On the occasion of Eid-ul-Azha, Mamata greeted Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina, her family and people of Bangladesh.

Eid-ul-Azha is a festival of sacrifice. Besides Bangladesh, the West Bengal also celebrates Eid-ul-Azha with due solemnity, said the West Bengal chief minister.

Lastly, she hoped further progress of Bangladesh under the leadership of Sheikh Hasina.
