Bangladesh Meteorological Department (BMD) has said that the trend of
rain will increase across the country from Monday (September 18). The agency
also said that there may be rain around Dhaka including the coastal areas from
today Sunday (September 17) evening.
Meteorologist Mohammad Abdur Rahman Khan confirmed this
information.
He said that due to the low pressure in the sea, the
temperature has increased in almost all areas of the country for the past few
days. However, monsoon flow has started normalizing as low pressure moves
towards India. It is expected to rain in the Chattogram division from the evening.
Apart from this, there is a possibility of rain in the south-eastern areas of
Dhaka.
This meteorologist said, that from tomorrow (Monday), there may
be moderate to heavy rains across the country. In some places, there may be rain
with thunder. However, there may be less rain in Rajshahi and Rangpur
divisions.
Meanwhile, in a weather forecast, the Directorate said that the daytime temperature may drop by 1 to 3 degrees Celsius across the country on Monday. The night temperature may also drop.
A forecast says that from 9 a.m. today, mild heat flow is
flowing over the districts of Dhaka, Tangail, Rajshahi, Sirajganj, Rangpur, Syedpur,
Kundigram, Panchagarh, Moulvibazar, Jashore, and Chuadanga and it will subside
from some places, which can continue till 9 am Monday.
