Thunderstorms And Rain Forecast For Multiple Divisions In Bangladesh

The Meteorological Department has announced that there may be thunderstorms and rain in some areas of eight divisions.

This information was provided in the weather forecast valid until 6 PM today, Thursday (October 10).

The forecast indicates that thunderstorms with rain may occur in many areas of Dhaka, Mymensingh, and Sylhet divisions, as well as in some areas of Rangpur, Rajshahi, Khulna, Barisal, and Chattogram divisions. During this time, the daytime temperature across the country may slightly decrease, while the nighttime temperature is expected to remain almost unchanged.

The extended axis of the monsoon trough runs from Bihar, through West Bengal, and the central regions of Bangladesh to Assam. The monsoon winds are relatively active over Bangladesh and are in a weak to moderate state over the North Bay of Bengal.
