Thunderstorms Expected In Six Divisions

The Bangladesh Meteorological Department has forecasted thunderstorms with strong winds for six regions of the country by evening. The agency has advised river ports in these areas to issue warning signals.

On Saturday, October 19, the weather forecast for internal river ports was released by the Bangladesh Meteorological Department, indicating that temporary gusty winds of 45-60 kilometers per hour may occur from the west or southwest over the regions of Jashore, Khulna, Barishal, Patuakhali, Noakhali, and Cumilla before 6 PM. Rain or thunderstorms may also accompany these winds.

The river ports in these areas have been advised to display signal number 1.
