KUET Bans Student Politics

Khulna University of Engineering and Technology (KUET) has banned student politics.

Any student found involved in politics will face lifetime expulsion and cancellation of their student status as the maximum punishment, said a notification issued on Monday (March 10).

According to Clause 20 of the Student Discipline Rules in the Academic Ordinance, no student or group is allowed to be involved in any political organisation's activities. In case of such an incident or direct involvement in politics, disciplinary action may be taken following an investigation, the notification said.
