Pabna Road Crash Kills 2

Two people died and three others wounded early today at Madhupur, Ataikula Upazila, in a crash between a covered van and a truck on the Pabna-Dhaka highway.

The victims were identified as Abdul Hamid, 40 and Babu Hossain, 50 of the Upazila.

The accident occurred about 5:30 a.m. when the Hajirhat-bound truck hit the covered van killing Abdul Hamid on the spot and injuring four others, said Sargent Aminul Islam, Pabna highway police camp in-charge.

The wounded were taken to Pabna General Hospital where Babu was declared dead by doctors.
