Committee Formed at Upazila Level to Check Spread of Virus

A committee has been formed at Upazila level to check the spread of Coronavirus and the committee has been entrusted with specific responsibilities. 

It has recently been found that the people are getting afraid of taking steps for proper burial of dead bodies fearing their deaths to be Coronavirus-related, and people are avoiding according to them funerals. 

In this regard, at least 10 people (including 3 women) from each locality will have to be selected as volunteers for taking measures for a funeral. These 10 people will take necessary measures for the funeral of the body, said a notification signed by Shamima Nasreen, Deputy Secretary (Par-1).

Local Islamic Foundation/Al Markajul will take the necessary steps to arrange training for them in this regard.

After selecting 10 people (including 3 women) at the local level as volunteers, they have been asked to contact local Islamic Foundation/ Al Markajul for getting training.
