161 More Test Positive for COVID-19 in Ctg

A total of 161 more people tested positive for coronavirus (COVID-19) in the three Covid-19 laboratories in the Chattogram district in the last 24 hours.

As a result, the total number of COVID-19 patients rose to 1483 only in the Chattogram district until today.

Civil Surgeon Dr. Sheik Fazle Rabbi told media that a total of 37 individuals have recently been screened positive for coronavirus after 247 BITID samples had been checked in the last 24 hours.

In the meantime, another 100 new COVID-19 patients were identified in the Chattogram Medical College Hospital (CMCH) lab after testing 209 samples in two days.

On the other hand 24 corona patients were detected at CVASU lab after testing 89 samples in the same period.

So far, 50 people died in Chattogram district due to COVID-19 and 146 persons were released from the hospital at the same time, the sources added.
