3 More Thakurgaon BGB Men Infected with Covid-19

Three more members of the Bangladesh Border Guard (BGB) were infected with coronavirus in Thakurgaon.

Infected BGB leaders are medical assistants at the BGB District Hospital, civil surgeon Dr. Mahfuzar Rahman said Friday.

In the meantime, the total confirmed coronavirus cases in the district exceeded 209 to Friday.

Among them, 67 are now undergoing treatment.

Besides, 142 people made recovery from the virus in the district.

Bangladesh reported 3,114 new cases of coronavirus and 42 deaths in the last 24 hours until Friday morning.

So far, 156,391 coronavirus cases and 1,968 deaths have been confirmed by the country's health authorities.
