5 Killed in Road Accident due to Dense Fog

Five people were killed and two more injured in a head-on collision between two trucks due to low visibility caused by dense fog near the flyover of Gharinda union in Tangail Sadar Upazila on Tuesday morning. 

Identities of the deceased could not be known immediately. 

Jalal Hossen, Deputy Director of Tangail Fire Service, confirmed the matter to  media. 

He said that a Dhaka-bound truck collided head-on with a North Bengal-bound truck in the area due to poor visibility caused by dense fog about 6:30 a.m. Four people died on the spot, and another person died on the way to the hospital.
