Municipalities to Come under Automation System

Services of all municipalities of the country will be brought under automation system, said Local Government, Rural Development and Cooperatives (LGRD) Minister Md Tajul Islam.

The minister came up with the information after meeting with the South Korean ambassador to Bangladesh Lee Jang-Keun on Monday.

The LGRD minister said his ministry is working to provide all services of 329 municipalities of the country under the automation system.

Meanwhile, the South Korean ambassador expressed his country's interest to work with Bangladesh jointly in introducing an automation system in the municipalities.
