Covid-19: 88 More Die with Infection Rate Declining

Bangladesh has reported 88 more deaths from Covid-19 and 2,341 new cases in the last 24 hours till 8 am Thursday.

With the latest figures, the country's total caseload reached 7,56,955. 

Meanwhile, the infection rate further dropped today to 9.39% which is the lowest since 20 March. 

The daily death toll increased in the last 24 hours as the country reported 77 single-day deaths on Wednesday.

The total death count now stands at 11,393 in the country with a fatality rate of 1.51%.
