PM Asks BTCL And Other Govt Companies to Be Self-Dependent

Prime Minister Shiekh Hasina has directed all government companies including banks, Biman Bangladesh Airlines, and Bangladesh Telecommunications Company (BTCL) to be self-dependent. 

She gave the instruction at the ECNEC meeting on Tuesday while approving a project of BTCL, reports media.

"No more funds will be allotted from government funds in upcoming days," said the premier.
