The Rapid Action Battalion (RAB) has detained some seven members of a teen gang and arrested its alleged 35-year-old leader in the capital.
Acting on a tip-off, a team of RAB-2 raided the city's Pallabi area on Wednesday night and nabbed the eight. Some sharp weapons have been seized from their possession, the elite force said on Thursday.
The 35-year-old gang leader has been identified as Delwar Hossain alias Paltu. Others are legally minors, aged 18-19 years.
