18 More Covid Patients Die in Khulna Division

In the 24 hours leading up to 8 am on Thursday, eighteen more Covid-19 patients died in Khulna division. According to a top health official, this is the highest fatality rate in a single day in Khulna division so far.

In addition, 725 more people tested positive for the virus, bringing the total number of cases to 42,611.

Director of the Divisional Health Directorate Rasheda Sultana confirmed the matter to media.

She stated four people died in each of the districts of Khulna and Kushtia, three people died in Jashore, two people died in Chuadanga and Meherpur, and one person died in Bagerhat, Magura, and Jhenaidah.
