11 Die of Covid-19 in 2 Khulna Hospitals in 24 Hours

Eleven people died from Covid-19 infections at two hospitals in Khulna in the last 24 hours till 8 am Monday.  

Six Covid patients died at the Corona unit of Khulna Medical College Hospital (KMCH) while five patients died at Gazi Medical College Hospital while undergoing treatment, reports media.

Dr Suhas Ranjan Halder, resident medical officer of KMCH and Gazi Mizanur Rahman, owner of Gazi Medical College Hospital, confirmed the matter.

Khulna Medical College Principal Dr Mehedi Newaz said, some 184 out of 464 people tested positive for Covid-19 in the last 24 hours.

The infection rate in Natore on Monday stood at 40 percent, he said.
