200 Platoons BGB Deployed Across The Country

Weeklong strict restrictions have started across the country from 6 am on Thursday (July 1) to prevent coronavirus infection. Which will continue till midnight on July 7. At this time, Border Guard Bangladesh (BGB) members have been deployed across the country with effect from government restrictions.

As per the notification issued by the Cabinet Division, 200 platoons of BGB have been deployed across the country, including the capital, since Thursday (July 1) morning, said BGB Director (Operations) Lt. Colonel Faizur Rahman.

He said the required number of BGB has been deployed across the country, including the capital Dhaka, as per the demand of the district administration. There is still a demand for district administration in many districts. According to him, the BGB is preparing. According to the latest information at 11 am, 200 platoon BGB has been deployed across the country. BGB members are working in coordination with the demands of the district administration and other law enforcement agencies.
