A maximum of 39 people have died in Khulna division in the last 24
hours due to coronavirus infection. Earlier, a maximum of 33 people were killed
in a single day in the department. At the same time, 1,245 people were
identified as Covid-19 patients.
Today, Thursday (July 1) at noon, the Khulna director of the Directorate
General of Health Services (DGHS) Rasheda Sultana has confirmed this
information.
According to the Divisional Health Director's Office, seven people have
died in Korstia, seven in Jessore, four in Khulna, four in Jhenaidah, four in
Satkhira, three in Meherpur, three in Narail, two in Chuadanga and one in
Bagerhat in the last 24 hours.
Meanwhile, due to the increase in the incidence of Covid-19, there has
been a bed crisis in the hospitals. There is also the crisis of oxygen. The
patients are suffering in this. Besides, those on duty at the hospital are
having a hard time.
A total of 57,520 people have been identified in 10 districts of Khulna
division since the onset of coronavirus infection till Thursday morning. 1,105
people died due to the infection. At this time 38 thousand 930 people have
returned home healthy.
