Post-Eid Instructions to Govt Officials

The government has instructed government officials to make their office work virtual even though the office is closed due to strict restrictions after Eid ul Azha.

According to a notification from the Cabinet Division, government employees will be stationed at their respective workplaces and will complete the paperwork virtually (e-documents, e-trading, e-mail, SMS, WhatsApp and other means).

The Cabinet Division on Tuesday (July 13) issued a notification relaxing the restrictions from midnight on July 14 to 6 am on July 23. In the same circular, strict restrictions were imposed from 6 am on July 23 to 12 midnight on August 5.

From July 23, on the 14-day restrictions, government employees are instructed to stay in the workplace and make office work virtual. Among the restrictions of July 1-14, there were instructions to make the official work of government offices virtual on July 11.

All government, semi-government, autonomous and private offices will be closed during the 14-day period. Road, rail and waterways will be closed for public transport (including domestic flights) and all types of vehicles, shopping malls/markets, shops and all kinds of industries will be closed.
