2 Killed As Truck Crashes into Auto-Rickshaw in Gazipur

Two people, including a woman, were killed and two others injured after a truck overturned on an auto-rickshaw in MC Bazar area in Sreepur Upazila of Gazipur on Saturday morning.

The identities of the deceased and injured could not be known yet, reports media.

Mauna Highway Police Officer-in-Charge (OC) Kamal Hossain said that the Mymensingh-bound truck lost control and overturned the auto-rickshaw on Dhaka-Mymensingh highway at 8:30 am, leaving the rickshaw driver and its female passenger dead on the spot and injuring two others.

Upon receiving the news, the police went to the spot and recovered the bodies, he added.
