Parliamentary Committee Wants Detailed Plan of Vaccine Production

The Parliamentary Standing Committee on the Ministry of Health has asked for a full plan for the official production of coronavirus vaccine in the country. The committee hopes that the vaccine can be bottled and delivered under government management within 6-9 months.

The committee was directed to submit the report to the next meeting to bring all the people of the country under vaccination. At the same time two committees were formed to implement the activities of making vaccines.

The decision was taken at the 11th meeting of the committee held at the parliament building on Thursday (August 26).

Chairman of the committee Sheikh Fazlul Karim Selim presided over the meeting. AHM Ruhul Haque, Muhibur Rahman Manik, Md. Mansur Rahman, Md. Abdul Aziz, Syeda Zakia Nur, Rahgir Almahi Ershad and Md. Amirul Alam Milon were present at the meeting.
