All People To Be Brought Under Vaccination Coverage: Health Min

Health and Family Welfare Minister Zahid Maleque today said all the people of the country will be brought under vaccination coverage to prevent the outbreak of COVID-19.

"The people of the rural areas will be immunized to contain the deadly virus," he was addressing a discussion and Doa Mahfil at the Suvo Center at Garpara on the occasion of National Mourning Day.  Manikganj Sadar Upazila unit of Jubo League organized the discussion.

The health minister said the infection and fatality rate still is less in Bangladesh compared to other developing countries in the world.   

The meeting, chaired by Sadar Upazila Jubo League president Md. Khalilur Rahman, was addressed among others by the district Awami League vice president Advocate Abdul Majid Photo, general secretary Advocate Abdus Salam, Manikganj municipality mayor Md. Ramjan Ali, Sadar Upazila Parishad chairman Israfil Hossain, the district Sports Association general secretary Sudeb Saha and Manikganj Poura Awami League president Monayem Khan.
