PM Mourns Death of UK PM Boris Johnson's Mother

Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina has expressed deep shock and sorrow at the death of Charlotte Johnson Wahl, mother of British Prime Minister Boris Johnson.

In a condolence message sent to the Prime Minister of the United Kingdom (UK), the Premier said "I am deeply saddened to learn about your mother Charlotte Johnson Wahl's sudden passing away."

She added, "The people of Bangladesh join me in conveying our heartfelt condolences and sympathies at your irreparable loss of a parent."

She went on saying "Our hearts also go out to the members of your bereaved family."

The Prime Minister prayed for salvation of the departed soul of Charlotte Johnson Wahl.

Charlotte Johnson Wahl, a professional painter, died at a London hospital on Monday at the age of 79.
