Vaccine Will Be Produced Soon: Health Min

Coronavirus vaccine will be produced in the country very soon. Health Minister Zahid Maleque said that 2.5 crore people have already been vaccinated in the country.

"We are not just bringing vaccines, the prime minister has instructed the country to produce Covid-19 vaccines as soon as possible," he said. We are working towards that goal. Vaccines will be produced in the country very soon. Two and a half crore people have already been vaccinated. One and a half crore people have been given double dose.

Zahid Maleque made the remarks in a speech to the National Parliament on Wednesday morning. The Health Minister answered various complaints and questions raised by the MPs.

“I like criticism,” the health minister said. Because it makes me stronger. But that should be unerring.

He further said that after getting confirmation of 60 million dose vaccine from China, I saw that taka two to three thousand crore is needed to bring this vaccine. I told the Prime Minister, we can bring 70 million doses of vaccine but it will cost this amount. The Prime Minister said, bring the vaccine as much as you need. We will get 5 crore vaccines from Covax. In all, order have been placed for 160 million vaccines.
