The US-Bangla Airlines is all set to operate a direct flight
to Maldivian capital Male from November 19 as the first-ever Bangladesh
carrier.
The country's largest private carrier in terms of the fleet
number will operate three weekly direct flights at Dhaka-Male-Dhaka route every -Tuesday, Friday and Sunday - with its 164-seat Boeing 737-800 aircraft,
the airline's press release said here today.
The US-Bangla Airlines expected that the flight would
fulfill the long-standing expectations of expatriate Bangladeshis residing in
the Maldives as well as travel lover folks of both the South Asian nations.
The airline has fixed the minimum fare Taka 29,508 for
one-way and Taka 45,545 for return including all taxes and surcharges, said the
release.
Currently, The US-Bangla Airlines operates international
flights to Dubai, Muscat, Doha, Kuala Lumpur, Singapore, Chennai and Guangzhou
and domestic flights to all destinations. (BSS)
