43rd BCS Preliminary Examination Begins

The 43rd Bangladesh Civil Service (BCS) preliminary examination began on Friday.

The two-hour exam, being held in eight divisional cities, started at 10:00 am and will continue till 12:00 pm.

Earlier, the Bangladesh Public Service Commission (BPSC) rescheduled the date of the examination for October 29 from October 15.

According to the BPSC, 4,35,190 job aspirants have applied for the 43rd BCS against over 1,800 cadre posts.

This time, the government will recruit 1,814 officials, including 300 public administration cadres, 100 police cadres, 25 foreign service cadres, and 843 education cadres.
