DNCC Drivers to Operate Garbage Vehicles in Night

Dhaka North City Corporation (DNCC) Mayor Mohammad Atiqul Islam said no garbage vehicle can be driven during the daytime without special needs.

He made the remarks at an exchange meeting with transport drivers working for Dhaka North City Corporation at Nagar Bhaban on Tuesday (November 30).

The mayor said, "Modern GPS and dash cameras will be installed in all DNCC vehicles. The person who is responsible for driving must drive the vehicle. After installing the GPS tracker, it will be monitored regularly. Everything will be recorded when each car leaves, where it goes."

Atiqul Islam said, "You have to do your own work. Legal action will be taken if the evidence is found that one's work was done by another. Golden handshake will be given if necessary. Transport drivers will be trained at least once a week every year. "
