Although the cyclone 'Jawad' formed in the Bay of Bengal is more than 800 km away, its anterior part has affected Bangladesh. Deep moving clouds (thunder clouds) are forming in the coastal areas of Bangladesh. Light rain has also started. The Bangladesh Meteorological Department has also forecast strong winds of up to 50 kmph.

In this situation, the warning signal has increased. The meteorological department has asked the seaports of Bangladesh to lower the remote warning signal number 2 and display the local warning signal number 3.

According to meteorologists in Bangladesh and India, Jawad could weaken and hit the Puri coast of Orissa in India by noon on Sunday. After that 'Jawad' will come to Bangladesh through West Bengal along the Orissa coast. Then maybe it will turn into depletion of energy or a clear depressurization.

Rainfall has started in the coastal areas of the country due to the impact of the cyclone's anterior part. The sky of Dhaka has been covered with clouds since Saturday morning. According to meteorologists, it is likely to rain in Dhaka on Sunday and Monday in addition to the coastal areas due to the effect of Jawad.

It further said that the anterior part of the cyclone is causing deep moving clouds in the Bay of Bengal and coastal areas of Bangladesh and the coastal areas of North Bay and Bangladesh may experience rain or thunderstorms with temporary gusts or gusts of up to 40 to 50 kmph.

The Meteorological Department has asked Chittagong, Cox's Bazar, Mongla and Payra seaports to lower the remote warning signal No. 2 and display local warning signal No. 3 instead.
