Chief Justice, Wife Test Positive for Covid-19, Admitted to Hospital

Chief Justice Hasan Foez Siddique has been infected with coronavirus along with his wife. He was admitted to Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujib Medical University Hospital (BSMMU) on Wednesday night (January 19).

Earlier, his wife Dalia Firoz was admitted to the same hospital on Tuesday (January 18).

This information has been revealed by the Supreme Court sources on Thursday (January 20).

Hospital sources confirmed that the chief justice and his wife were both in good health. The medical board will sit on them at 12 noon today.

Meanwhile, the Appellate Division's activities are going on under the guidance of Senior Justice Mohammad Nuruzzaman Nani.

On the other hand, the state's chief legal officer Attorney General AM Amin Uddin has also been infected with the coronavirus. He is in isolation at home.
