4 Killed As Pick-Up Rams Auto-Rickshaw in Narsingdi

Four people were killed and another was injured as a pick-up van and a CNG run-autorickshaw collided head-on in Raipura Upazila of Narsingdi district Friday, reports media.

The deceased were CNG passengers- Ainuddin, 35, and Kaium Miah, 18, of Abdullahpur village;  Abdul Rouf, 62, of Baherchar village; Monir Hossain, 35, of Dakkhin Mirzanagar area, in the Upazila.

Locals said a pick-up van collided head-on with a CNG run-autorickshaw on the Narsingdi-Raipura road at Karimganj area around 7:00 am, leaving four people dead on the spot and another injured.

The injured was admitted to Narsingdhi Sadar Hospital.

Amirganj Police Outpost in-charge Farid said being informed, police recovered the bodies and sent those to Narsingdhi Sadar Hospital morgue.
