Padma Bridge Inauguration To Be Celebrated in All 64 Dists

The government has decided to celebrate the inauguration of the Padma Bridge in all the 64 districts of Bangladesh simultaneously on June 25, reports UNB.

There will be common programs, including a laser show in Dhaka's Hatirjheel, all around to mark the memorable occasion.

Special programmes will be arranged in four districts – Munshiganj, Madaripur, Shariatpur, and Dhaka – for five days.

In a video conference on Friday, the Cabinet Division asked all the deputy commissioners to make necessary arrangements for the said programmes.

Road transport and bridges minister Obaidul Quader and cabinet secretary Khandker Anwarul Islam were present in the meeting.
