Another Bangladeshi Hajj Pilgrim Dies in Saudi Arabia

Another Bangladeshi hajj pilgrim died in Makkah al-Mukarramah of Saudi Arabia on Thursday, reports media.

The deceased was identified as Nurul Amin, 64, of Noakhali.

With this, a total of two hajj pilgrims died so far.

Md Jahangir Kabir, 59, hailing from Chapainawabganj district, is the first Bangladeshi pilgrim died in Saudi Arabia this year on Saturday (June 11).

15,624 pilgrims have arrived in Saudi Arabia since June 17.   

The holy Hajj will be held in Saudi Arabia on July 7 (Zilhaj 9) subject to the sighting of the moon.

Among the pilgrims, 3,365 are under government management and 12,339 are under private management.

The Hajj will be held on July 8 in Saudi Arabia subject to the sighting of the moon. This time the quota for Hajj pilgrims is 4,000 under government management (including state expenses and guides), while the quota for private management is 53,585. The flight of Hajj pilgrims to Saudi Arabia started on June 5. The last flight to Saudi Arabia is on July 3. The return flight will start on July 14 after the Hajj. The return flight will end on August 4.
