9 Police Officers Transferred To DMP

Police officials have been transferred to Dhaka Metropolitan Police (DMP) from various units, including those of lower ranks than Additional Superintendent of Police. A total of 14 police officers have been transferred, including five others.

The transfers were made by an order signed by Inspector General of Police (IGP) Mohammad Moinul Islam on Thursday, August 15.

The newly transferred officers to DMP are: Khondokar Mohammad Shamim Hossain from RAB, Mohammad Sarwar Jahangir from PBI, Sheikh Rajibul Hasan from CID, Mohammad Moinul Haque from the Industrial Police, Mohammad Shahjahan Hossain from CID, Mallik Ahsan Uddin Sami from APBN, Abu Laish Mohammad Ilyach Ziku from APBN, BM Shahriar Abdullah-bin-Farid from APBN, and Mohammad Sumon Reza from the Naval Police.

Additionally, five other officers have been transferred to various units. They are: Mohammad Abdul Mabbud from Rajshahi Sarada to the Police Telecom Authority, Shaheda Sultana from RAB to the Rajshahi Range DIG Office, Faria Afruz from Tangail PTC to Police Headquarters, Mohammad Rashed Hasan from DMP to Special Branch (SB), and Assistant Police Commissioner Golam Ruhani from DMP to Khagrachari APBN and Specialized Training Center.

In a separate order, three officers of the rank of Additional DIG have also been transferred. They are: MunTasirul Islam from the LIC branch of Police Headquarters to the Welfare Trust, Mohammad Nasirul Islam from Personnel Management-1 to the LIC branch, and Shahjada Mohammad Asaduzzaman from Police Headquarters to Personnel Management-1.
