Rallies, Assemblies Banned Near Secretariat

Dhaka Metropolitan Police (DMP) has prohibited all kinds of meetings, gatherings and processions near the Secretariat and Chief Adviser Dr Muhammad Yunus’ official residence.

DMP issued a notification in this regard on Sunday night (August 25).

The notification said that in light of the recent situation, holding any form of public gathering near the Bangladesh Secretariat and the vicinity of the official residence of the Chief Adviser (Jamuna) is prohibited from Monday (August 26) until further notice.
