Eden College BCL Leader Commits Suicide

A student of Eden Mohila College reportedly committed suicide on Wednesday night. 

The dead was Shayla Shikder, a leader of Bangladesh Chhatra League's Eden College unit, hailed from Patuakhali's Kalapara upazila.

It was known that Shayla was a student of the 2020-21 session of Physics Department at Eden College. She was the Vice President of Kalapara Upazila Chhatra League.

Several college sources confirmed the matter to reporters. However, the exact cause of Shayla's suicide could not be known.
