Anwar Hossain Manju Arrested

Jatiya Party (JP) Chairman and former minister Anwar Hossain Manju has been arrested on Monday afternoon.

The law-enforcement agencies detained him from a house of Dhanmondi in the capital.

Earlier on August 28, the Bangladesh Financial Intelligence Unit (BFIU) of the Bangladesh Bank asked all banks to freeze Anwar Hossain Manju's accounts.
