3 Killed In Bus-Truck Collision On Bangabandhu Bridge

Three people were killed and ten others injured in a collision between a bus and a truck on the Bangabandhu bridge in Sirajganj around 5am on Saturday.  

The identities of the deceased could not be known immediately.

Mahbubur Kabir, Sub Inspector of Bangabandhu Bridge West police station, said a Dhaka-bound bus of Express Paribahan collided with a truck in front of 13 no pillar of the bridge, leaving three people dead on the spot and ten others injured. Three bodies were recovered and sent to Sirajganj 250-beded Bangamata Sheikh Fazilatunnesa Mujib General Hospital for autopsy.
