Bangladeshi Teenager Shot Dead By BSF In Thakurgaon

A Bangladeshi teenage boy has been killed by gunfire from the Indian Border Security Force (BSF) at the Baliadangi border in Thakurgaon.

The deceased was known as Sree Jayanta Kumar Singa, 15, son of Sree Mahadev Kumar.

Baliadangi police station Officer-in-Charge (OC) Firoz Kabir said the incident when the victim and his father tried to enter Indian territory crossing Kanti Vita border area of Dhantala union of the upazila.

BGB-50 Battalion commander lieutenant colonel Tanzir Ahmed said that the process of bringing back the body is underway.
