25 Districts Including Dhaka, Ctg Get New DCs

The government on Monday appointed new deputy commissioners (DCs) in  25 districts including Dhaka and Chattogram.

The Ministry of Public Administration issued a gazette notification in this regard on Monday.

The other districts where new DCs have been appointed include Gopalganj, Faridpur, Sylhet, Habiganj, Mymensingh, Sherpur, Kushtia, Jhenaidah, Magura, Rangpur, Gaibandha, Naogaon, Natore, Pabna, Joypurhat, Cox’s Bazar, Bogura, Noakhali, Chandpur, Gazipur, Cumilla, Moulvibazar and Khulna.

New DCs are-

Deputy Secretary of Cabinet Department Tanveer Ahmed to Dhaka, Deputy Secretary of Economic Relations Department Mohammad Kamrul Hasan Mollah to Faridpur, Deputy Secretary of Public Administration Ministry PKM Enamul Kabir to Sylhet, Deputy Secretary of Public Administration Ministry Dr. Md. Faridur Rahman to Habiganj, Private Secretary to Health and Family Welfare Ministry Mufidul Alam to Mymensingh, Health Care Department Deputy Secretary Tarfdar Mahmudur Rahman to Sherpur, Commerce Ministry Deputy Secretary Farhana Islam to Kushtia, Anti-Corruption Commission Director (Deputy Secretary) Mohammad Abdul Awal to Jhenaidah, Economic Relations Department Deputy Secretary Md. Ahidul Islam to Magura, Agriculture Ministry Deputy Secretary Mohammad Rabiul Faisal to Rangpur, Cabinet Division Chowdhury Moazzam Ahmad to Gaibandha, Anti-Corruption Commission Director Mohammad Abdul Awal to Naogaon, Health Education and Family Welfare Department Deputy Secretary Mohammad Mofizul Islam to Pabna, Public Administration Ministry Deputy Secretary Hosna Afroza to Bogra, Bangabandhu The project director of Hitech City-2 supporting infrastructure construction project. Saiduzzaman to Joypurhat, Deputy Secretary of Youth and Sports Ministry Mohammad Salauddin to Cox's Bazar, Deputy Secretary of Public Administration Ministry Farida Khanom to Chittagong, Deputy Secretary of Cabinet Division Ishtiaq Ahmed to Noakhali, Deputy Secretary of Health Education and Family Welfare Department Mohammad Mohsin Uddin to Chandpur, Deputy Secretary of Ministry of Agriculture Nasima Arefin to Gapur, Environment Forest and Deputy Secretary of the Ministry of Climate Change Mohammad Amirul Kaiser in Comilla, Chief Executive Officer of Barisal City Corporation. Israel Hossain has been appointed as Moulvibazar, Public Administration Ministry Deputy Secretary Mohammad Saiful Islam Khulna and Dhaka Haj Office Director Muhammad Kamruzzaman as Gopalganj DC.

Earlier in the last month, the interim government led by Prof Dr Muhammad Yunus also transferred some DCs and made new appointments in a reshuffle in the administration.
