AL Leader Jabbar Arrested For Attacking Students

Police has arrested Abdul Jabbar, an Awami League leader of Kafrul Thana in the city, for attacking students during the Anti-Discrimination Student Movement.

Police arrested him from Senpara Parbota area on Thursday night (September 26), said the press wing of Dhaka Metropolitan Police (DMP).

A man named Md Mobarok Hossain was seriously injured in an attack in Mirpur-10 area on July 19. 

The victim’s uncle Md Rubel Hossain filed a case, accusing 150 people.

Seeing the video footage, police identified Abdul Jabbar who led the attack.
