Police have recovered the decapitated bodies of two individuals from a tea shop in Gulshan, Dhaka. It is suspected that they were murdered several days ago and the bodies were left there by the assailants.
On Saturday, September 28, the bodies were found at a tea shop located at 21, Road 108 in Gulshan-2.
The officer-in-charge (OC) of Gulshan Police Station, Touhid Ahmed, stated that both victims had sharp weapon wounds on their necks. The deceased have been identified as Rafiq (62), from Dabdabiya village in Barisal, and Sabbir (15), from the Bepari Para area of Raygonj Bazaar in Gauripur, Mymensingh district.
Local residents believe that the two were killed at some point on Thursday, September 26. Today, a foul smell emanated from the bodies.
Police have prepared a preliminary report on the bodies and have sent them to the morgue for autopsy.
