Ex-President B Chowdhury Admitted To Hospital As Health Deteriorates

The physical condition of former President and President of the Alternative Party of Bangladesh, Professor Dr. A. Q. M. Badruddoza Chowdhury, has deteriorated.

He was admitted to the Medical College for Women and Hospital in Uttara early this morning, Wednesday, October 2.

B. Chowdhury's son, former Member of Parliament Mahi B. Chowdhury, stated that his father had been bedridden throughout Tuesday night and experienced bleeding. It is still unclear how serious his condition is. He has requested prayers from everyone.

His daughter, Dr. Shayla Chowdhury, said, “My father has been taken to the hospital. More details will be provided later.” The 95-year-old former president has been suffering from various ailments in recent days and had been receiving treatment at home.
