A survey conducted by the South Asian Institute of Policy and Governance (SIPG) at North South University (NSU) reveals that 53% of voters believe the interim government should remain in power for two years or less.

The research organization stated that the survey was conducted from September 9 to September 19 across 17 districts in eight divisions of the country, involving a total of 1,869 respondents.
This is the first national representative survey conducted directly following the July mass uprising.
Among the respondents, 63% were middle-aged (28-50 years), 22% belonged to Generation Z (18-27 years), and 14% were over 50 years old.
Additionally, 54% of the survey respondents resided in urban areas, while 46% lived in rural regions.
