The Executive Magistrate of Lalmonirhat district, Tapashi Tabassum Urmi, has come under criticism for making controversial comments about the chief advisor of the country's interim government, Dr. Muhammad Yunus, in a Facebook post. Following this incident, she has been transferred to the Ministry of Public Administration as Officers on Special Duty (OSD).

This information was confirmed by a notification signed by Nilufa Yasmin, Senior Assistant Secretary of the Ministry of Public Administration, issued on Sunday evening (October 6). Lalmonirhat District Commissioner HM Rakib Haider also verified the matter.

It has been reported that Executive Magistrate Tapashi Tabassum Urmi wrote in her Facebook post that the chief advisor of the constitutionally ungrounded interim government claimed, "The reset button has been pushed. The past has been erased." She criticized him for allegedly erasing the country's entire historical past with the click of a reset button, stating, "The countdown has begun for you, sir."

However, a few hours later, that post was no longer visible on her Facebook page. Additionally, she had made several posts taking a stance in favor of the ousted government during the mass uprising of students and the public, as well as several posts supporting the Awami League.

Regarding this incident, Lalmonirhat District Commissioner HM Rakib Haider stated that she has been transferred to the Ministry of Public Administration as OSD, and the government will make further decisions according to employment regulations.
